- The Canyon: The Canyon is truly something to behold. It is a partially filled quarry that has been transformed to host unforgettable outdoor events. The natural beauty is spectacular. Soaring rock walls encase a grand walkway leading to a 6,000sf patio beside a charming pond with a waterfall. The hard surface is an ideal spot for tents to allow for rain or shine outdoor events. The Quarry is positioned in the population center of Knoxville. We are a mere 10-15 minutes from downtown, McGhee Tyson airport, and Turkey Creek. Yet, when you are in The Canyon with its towering rock faces on all sides, you feel as though you have your own hidden oasis.
- The Terrazzo: The Terrazzo is a historic industrial building that was built in the 1930s from the very marble unearthed from the property. It is constructed utilizing terrazzo blocks that consist of concrete and marble chips left over from the quarry process. This space was used as the compression house and maintenance facility when the quarry was operational. There once stood three large compressors next to this building that generated the steam that powered the drills that were used to cut out the pink marble from this site. This 1800sf building served as a main hub for the quarry operation and has since been reconditioned to offer a distinctive industrial chic backdrop for your rehearsal dinner, private event, or corporate function.

A NOTE FROM A QUARRY BRIDE
Within a week of contacting The Quarry we were on location with Lindsey getting a tour of the property and having all of our questions answered.
A month after booking our wedding date, I had my first planning meeting with Lindsey and Morgan. We discussed my vision, preferred venders and details I hoped to include. Within two months they had all of the major vendors and details booked and taken care of for me. Three months before the wedding I went back to The Quarry for my final meeting, this one lasted a few hours. I was able to meet all of my vendors including the photographer, florist and DJ. They had place settings and table cloths for me to choose from and I was able to confirm all of the final plans. It was so nice to meet everyone before our big day! On our wedding day all I had to do was show up and get ready. Everything was exactly how I dreamed. They kept the day running smoothly and on schedule.
They made my wedding so special and easy that I would plan a hundred more with them. They have a hidden gem here in Knoxville and they are amazing. Lindsey and Morgan will make you feel like the only bride they are working with. The property alone is reason enough to choose them. From the Canyon to the Carrara, it is all so breathtaking and the perfect setting for a dreamy wedding. 10/10 would recommend!
